Mexico has come a long way in producing quality coffee. It used to be considered inexpensive and was low-grown but today, it is grown at an altitude of between 900 and 1250 meters in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas mountain range. This area features cool weather and frequent rain.
The coffee is grown under the strict rules for organic food production which adds value to it.The organic beans are harvested by hand between December and April are fully washed and are sun dried. The variety is Caturra and the varietal is Burbon.
