Colombia is the second largest producer of coffee in the world and the largest producer of washed and Arabica coffee. They are well known for their high quality coffee and about half of their exports come to the United States. Colombia exports approximately 12.5 million bags and internal consumption is about 2 million bags annually.

Colombia only produces washed Arabica coffee. There are three primary varieties grown in Colombia and the coffee is referred to by the region in which it is grown. There are many coffee producing regions in the country. Colombia is proficient in producing an abundance of truly delicious and sought after coffee.

This coffee comes from the small town of Pitalito, which lies in southern Huila in the Valley of Laboyos. This southern area of Colombia is at the foot of the Andes mountains. This massive mountain range is the birthplace of the Magdalena River, which travels north all the way to the Caribbean coast.

The valley itself lies at about 1,300 meters above sea level. All the surrounding mountains grow coffee with the average farm having about 6 hectares and about 5,000 trees per hectare. The soil is volcanic, providing lots of organic nutrients for this high altitude coffee.

New 3 in 1 Coffee Brewer-Trinity ONE

Press. Drip. Immersion. All in ONE.

The Trinity ONE concept was dreamed up 3 years ago by founder, Mark Folker, who made his entry into specialty coffee coming from a background in the seemingly familiar and parallel specialty wine scene.

As an engineer, Mark developed the conceptual design drawings for his new brewer, and then took his concept to a local industrial design team at Infinity Design in Brisbane, Australia, who assisted in linking with factory suppliers and in materialising the product concept into a functional prototype. From there, Mark launched, and took it to Kickstarter for an attempt to get funded.

The product-to-prototype journey after Kickstarter has been frantic and intense. While still working full-time and supporting his family, Mark is working tirelessly around the clock in order to advance his prototype into a product between trips to his factory. Throughout the process, the highest priority has been to fulfil the orders of his Kickstarter, distributor and pre-order customers all over the world - the ones ultimately who are credited for bringing the product into the market for the very first time.

New Costa RIcan Geisha Green Beans!

"Geisha coffee first achieved world recognition thanks to a stunning and multi-award winning sample from Hacienda Esmeralda in Panama and it’s one of the Arabica varieties that originated from the original Typica and Bourbon varieties that first was discovered growing in the wild in Ethiopia’s Kaffa province some 1000 to 1200 years ago. Named after the Gesha district in the province of Kaffa in Ethiopia, the Gesha bean qualifies for being the “Malbec of Coffees” in the world today, because much as the Malbec grape that originated from Bordeaux wine growing region in France it wasn’t until Argentina started cultivated this grape on the other side of the world in the Mendoza region that it rose to fame for its quality. Today the Gesha, or Geisha bean, is increasingly cultivated across Central America as well as back home in the Kaffe province in Ethiopia.

A MUST-TRY for coffee lovers, this coffee has a floral aroma and is silky smooth, yet is a surprisingly full-bodied bean, with a pronounced yet balanced acidity that combined leaves an exotic, sweet and delicious well-rounded aftertaste that will linger on the back of your tongue for hours after the coffee is gone."
